Trailer: ‘Pegasus 2’

‘Pegasus 2’ (飞驰人生2) is a 2024 Chinese sports comedy-drama written and directed by Han Han.

The film, which is a sequel to 2019’s ‘Pegasus’, revolves around a down-on-his-luck rally driver who finds unexpected new partners that allow him to re-enter a famed rally race. The cast includes Shen Teng, Fan Chengcheng, Yin Zheng, Zhang Benyu, Sun Yizhou, and Wei Xiang.

Synopsis: Former champion driver Zhang Chi (Shen Teng) has been reduced to working as a driving school instructor, and lives a life that depends on his face to make ends meet. Unexpectedly, the director of a car factory on the verge of shutting down offers to sponsor Zhang to set up a team to break into the last Bayinbruk Rally. Zhang gathers up his old friends Sun Yuqiang (Yin Zheng) and Ji Xing (Zhang Benyu), along with talented driver Li Xiaohai (Fan Chengcheng) and rookie driving school student Liu Xiande (Sun Yizhou).
