‘Radiation House: The Movie’ (劇場版ラジエーションハウス) is a 2022 Japanese medical drama directed by Masayuki Suzuki.
Based on the manga by Tomohiro Yokomaku and Taishi Mori, the film is a continuation of the TV series that finds Amakasu travelling to a remote island after she learns that her father is seriously ill. The cast includes Masataka Kubota, Tsubasa Honda, Alice Hirose, Kenta Hamano, and Tomomi Maruyama.
Synopsis: Iori Igarashi (Masataka Kubota) is a radiographer at a general hospital who has been feeling depressed. An Amakasu (Tsubasa Honda), whom he loves, has decided to travel abroad to study at Washington Medical University. However, when Amakasu learns that her father, the only practising doctor at a small clinic on a remote island, is in a serious condition she puts her plans on hold. After arriving on the island, her father soon passes away so Amakasu decides to stay and assist at the clinic. But when a massive typhoon hits, she turns to her old hospital for help.
