‘She Taught Me Serendipity’ (今日の空が一番好き、とまだ言えない僕は) is a 2025 Japanese romantic drama written and directed by Akiko Ohku.

Based on the novel ‘Kyo no Sora ga Ichiban Suki, to Mada Ienai Boku wa’ by Shusuke Fukutoku, the film revolves around a pair of university students who strike up a relationship after they realise they have both experienced familial losses. The cast includes Riku Hagiwara, Yuumi Kawai, Aoi Ito, Kodai Kurosaki, and Hajime Anzai.

Synopsis: Toru Konishi’s (Riku Hagiwara) university life is far from what he imagined. He spends dull days hanging out with his only friend at school and cleaning a bathhouse for part-time work. One day, he sees Hana Sakurada (Yuumi Kawai) in a classroom and he is captivated by her dignified appearance with her hair in a bun. He talks to her and their relationship develops romantically, but a shocking incident that changes their lives suddenly strikes them. [Source: AsianWiki]
