Synopsis: Masaki, a 13-year-old boy, was murdered in his small rural hometown and his body was found under a bridge. His classmates Haru, Akira, and Saku storm into the house of the man they are convinced is Masaki’s killer and get into a struggle. The man is then killed by one of the boys and they set fire to the house, leading to the case eventually being closed. Time passes, and Akira, now a detective, returns to the town after the death of his father and is reunited with Saku. Soon after, a boy’s body is found under a bridge, just as it was 20 years ago. Akira locates Haru during the investigation of the boy’s murder, and the doors of their past, which they had kept in the back of their minds, begin to open again. [© Far East Films]
