Trailer: ‘Snowpiercer’ (TV series)

‘Snowpiercer’ is an upcoming American post-apocalyptic dystopian thriller television drama series that is set to air on TNT on May 17, 2020.

Based on both the 2013 South Korean-Czech film of the same name and the 1982 French graphic novel ‘Le Transperceneige’, the series follows the passengers of a perpetually moving train that circles the globe carrying the remnants of humanity seven years after the world becomes a frozen wasteland. The cast includes Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Mickey Sumner, Sheila Vand, Lena Hall, Alison Wright, Iddo Goldberg, Susan Park, and Sean Bean.

Synopsis: Set seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, Snowpiercer centers on the remnants of humanity, who inhabit a gigantic, perpetually-moving train that circles the globe. Class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival are questioned in this riveting television adaptation.

‘Snowpiercer’ will be available to watch (US viewers only) on TNTDrama.
