‘Super Me’ (超级的我) is a 2021 Chinese fantasy-adventure directed by Zhang Chong.

The film revolves around a man haunted by demons in his sleep who suddenly realises that he is capable of bringing items out of his dreams and into reality. The cast includes Darren Wang, Song Jia, Wu Gang, Elaine Jin, and Cao Bingkun.

Synopsis: Sang Yu (Darren Wang) is so exhausted from trying to stay awake. Every time he closes his eyes, a demon chases and kills him in his dreams. One night Sang realises he has a special power: he can bring treasures back from his dreams into reality. Almost overnight, he becomes a rich man. But his wealth also attracts the attention of a ruthless gangster…

‘Super Me’ was due to open across China in 2019, but will now be released on April 9, 2021.
