Trailer: ‘Sweet My Home’

‘Sweet My Home’ (スイート・マイホーム) is a 2023 Japanese mystery horror directed by Takumi Saito.

Based on the novel of the same name by Rinko Kamizu, the film revolves around a family who start to experience strange events after they move into a new house with a revolutionary heating system. The cast includes Masataka Kubota, Misako Renbutsu, Nao, Ayumu Nakajima, and Ririka.

Synopsis: Kenji Kiyosawa (Masataka Kubota) is a sports instructor in Nagano. He is fascinated by a model house called Mahou no Ie, which is able to warm the inside of an entire home with only one air conditioner unit. Kenji decides to construct a similar home for his wife and daughter, who are both sensitive to cold temperatures. In the meantime, the pair have a second daughter. Finally, the construction of their new home is completed and the family move into their new home, but bizarre incidents soon start to take place. [Source: AsianWiki]
