‘Tall Girl’ (非标准恋爱) is a 2025 Chinese romantic comedy directed by Xing Xiao.

Based on the manga ‘Tall Girls Can Fall in Love Too’ by Qing Ying, the film revolves around a young woman looking for love who starts to wonder whether she will ever find the right partner for her. The cast includes Guan Yue, Zhou Chengao, Yao Chi, Zhang Xiaowan, Liu Xun, and Ma Yujie.

Synopsis: College student Gao Ran (Guan Yue) bravely pursues Dong Le (Yao Chi), a sunny and cheerful boy who meets her dating standards, but she is rejected. Gao remains committed to finding a partner but finds herself surrounded by all kinds of “monsters and ghosts”. But it doesn’t matter, bad men will only make Gao more determined and courageous! When she meets Zhang Yang (Zhou Chengao), a man she typically wouldn’t go for, she realizes that as long as she is brave enough to be herself, there will always be someone to love you.
