‘The Shadow Strays’ is a 2024 Indonesian action crime thriller written and directed by Timo Tjahjanto.

The film revolves around a young assassin who defies her mentor to save a boy from a ruthless crime syndicate. The cast includes Aurora Ribero, Hana Malasan, Taskya Namya, Agra Piliang, and Andri Mashadi.

Synopsis: Codename 13, a 17-year-old assassin, is suspended following a sloppy mission in Japan. The girl developed a conscience when she met Monji, an 11-year-old boy who lost his mother to a crime syndicate. When Monji is captured, 13 is hellbent on setting a path of destruction to rescue the boy, including going against her mentor and the organization that hires her, the Shadow.

‘The Shadow Strays’ was released on Netflix on October 17, 2024.
