‘Too Beautiful To Lie’ (请别相信她) is a 2023 Chinese romantic comedy directed by Yang Yuanhan.

Based on the 2004 Korean film of the same name, the film revolves around a con-woman who pretends to be the girlfriend of a man she just met to win the affection of his family. The cast includes Zhang Ruonan, Wu Yuhan, Wu Yanshu, Du Xiaoyu, Wang Chengsi, Wang Yao, and Bu Guanjin.

Synopsis: Feisty female liar Bai Na (Zhang Ruonan) and humble small-town man Fang Yaodong (Wu Yuhan) met on a boat. Despite the fact that this is their first meeting, Bai claims to be Fang’s girlfriend and is warmly received by the Fang family. In order to expose Bai’s lies and win back the trust of his family, Fang decides to fight a battle of wits with Bai. As the family erupts into a chaotic war, will the lies suddenly start to become truthful? [© Far East Films]
