‘Victory’ (빅토리) is a 2024 South Korean comedy-drama directed by Park Bum-Soo.

The film revolves around a group of schoolgirls with a passion for dancing who establish a cheerleading club for the soccer team to give them a place to practice. The cast includes Hyeri, Park Se-Wan, Lee Jung-Ha, Jo A-Ram, Choi Ji-Su, and Baek Hi.

Synopsis: In 1999 in Geoje, South Korea, high school student Pil-Sun (Hyeri) and her best friend Mi-Na (Park Se-Wan) have a passion for dancing. Unfortunately, they don’t have a dance room at school where they can dance to their heart’s content. One day, they see transfer student Se-Hyun (Jo A-Ram) from Seoul doing cheerleading in the classroom. To get their own dance room at school, Pil-Sun and Mi-Na decide to form a cheerleading club with Se-Hyun. This is how the 9 members of the cheerleading club “Millennium Girls” first begin. The Millennium Girls cheer for the Geoje Commercial High School’s soccer team which Chi-Hyeong (Lee Jung-Ha) plays for. The soccer team are the worst in their league. [Source: AsianWiki]
