‘We Don’t Know Love Yet’ (恋を知らない僕たちは) is a 2024 Japanese romantic drama directed by Mai Sakai.
Based on the manga ‘Koi wo Shiranai Bokutachi wa’ by Minami Mizuno, the film revolves around the complex relationships that develop between a group of high school boys and girls. The cast includes Ryusei Onishi, Airu Kubozuka, Nagisa Saito, Riko, Soya Igari, and Sara Shida.
Synopsis: When they were middle school students, Eiji Aihara (Ryusei Onishi) and Naohiko Bessho (Airu Kubozuka) attended the same school and they were best friends. One day, Eiji’s childhood friend Izumi Shiosaki (Riko) transfers to their school. Eiji had feelings for Izumi, but he never told her how he felt. Naohiko is immediately smitten though, and he begins dating Izumi. Now, all 3 are first-year high school students and attend the same school. There, they meet Koharu Fujimura (Nagisa Saito), who begins to have feelings for Naohiko, Taichi Senami (Soya Igari), who is a member of a band, and Mizuho Ikezawa (Sara Shida), who is a literary girl and likes Eiji.
