‘We Girls’ (向阳·花) is a 2025 Chinese crime drama co-written and directed by Feng Xiaogang.
The film follows a woman who ends up in prison after a significant error, ultimately leading her to forge friendships with three extraordinary individuals. The cast includes Zhao Liying, Lan Xiya, Chuo Ni, Naomi Wang, and Cheng Xiao.
Synopsis: In order to buy her daughter a cochlear implant worth 200,000 yuan, Gao Yuexiang (Zhao Liying) took a risk and was sentenced to prison. However, because of this experience, she got to know Hei Mui (Lan Xiya), Deng Hong (Sini), Hu Ping (Naomi Wang) and Guo Aimei (Cheng Xiao). Although they have different personalities, they all have the attitude of ‘toughing it out with life’. They do not give in and do not resign themselves to fate, and they support each other all the way in the face of the challenges of destiny, and they live towards the sun. [© Far East Films]
