‘Yadang: The Snitch’ (야당) is a 2025 South Korean action crime drama directed by Hwang Byeng-Gug.

The film revolves around a wrongly convicted criminal who agrees to become a snitch in exchange for a reduced sentence. The cast includes Kang Ha-Neul, Yu Hae-Jin, Park Hae-Joon, Ryu Kyung-Soo, and Chae Won-Bin.

Synopsis: Falsely accused and imprisoned, Lee Kang-soo (Kang Ha-Neul) is offered a deal by prosecutor Koo Kwan-hee (Yu Hae-Jin). In exchange for a reduced sentence, Kang-soo must become Kwan-hee’s “Yadang” (an insider who leaks information). Slowly, Kang-soo begins to shake up the drug investigation, while the ambitious Kwan-hee racks up a stellar track record and rises through the ranks. [© Far East Films]
