Blu-ray release: 'Manhunt'

Toy Robot Video will release the 1976 Japanese action thriller ‘Manhunt’ (君よ憤怒の河を渉れ) on Blu-ray in the UK on October 19, 2026.

Directed by Junya Sato, the film centres on a public prosecutor who goes on the run after being framed for a crime and sets out to uncover the conspiracy behind the accusations. The cast includes Ken Takakura, Yoshio Harada, Ryo Ikebe, Ko Nishimura, Hideji Otaki, and Mitsuko Baisho.

Synopsis: Tokyo public prosecutor Fuyuto Morioka is suddenly accused of a crime he did not commit and arrested in the middle of Shinjuku. After escaping custody, he sets out to find the witnesses responsible for framing him, only to discover that they have disappeared. Pursued across the country by Inspector Yamura, Morioka must evade the police while searching for the truth behind the conspiracy.
