‘The Face of Hwanhee’ (환희의 얼굴) is a 2024 South Korean drama written and directed by Lee Je-Han.
The film follows Hwanhee through four separate stories, each revealing a different side of her as she encounters the people and relationships around her. The cast includes Jung Yi-Ju, Kim Si-Eun, Hwang Mi-Young, Kim Do-I, and Park In-Chun.
Synopsis: Four stories offer different glimpses into the life of Hwanhee, a young woman whose actions and emotions shift with each new situation. At times seeking sympathy and attention, at others searching for somewhere to belong, she can be cold, selfless, loving or capable of betrayal. As Hwanhee moves between these different encounters, the stories gradually build a portrait shaped as much by how others see her as by how she sees herself. [© Far East Films]
