This is the ‘Citizen Kane’ of HK heroic bloodshed films and it never ages, even after repeat viewings.

Anyone who has seen everything that Jackie, Sammo and Yuen have offered could do a lot worse than endure Chu Yen Ping’s messy action comedy.

For anyone who wants a blast of what exceptional imaginations used to do with minor budgets, ‘A Heroic Fight’ will refresh more than it will befuddle.

This Taiwanese outing is much more Hong Kong than Hollywood, so it comes complete with kick-ass kung fu fights and a group of children that don’t actually make you want to vomit.

Although certain aspects of the series have changed in this third part, ‘Lucky Stars Go Places’ still proves to be an entertaining and undemanding film that fits well into this popular film series.
