East Winds Film Festival, the only major film festival of East Asian cinema outside of London and the first of its kind in the Midlands, has unveiled the line-up for its sixth edition after much anticipation.

‘Detective Dee: The Four Heavenly Kings’ (狄仁杰之四大天王) is a Chinese action-adventure fantasy directed by Tsui Hark, and a sequel to 2013’s ‘Young Detective Dee: Rise Of The Sea Dragon‘.

‘Attrition’ is a 2018 American action movie directed by Mathieu Weschler.

Arrow Academy will release Hirokazu Koreeda’s Japanese crime drama ‘The Third Murder’ on UK Blu-ray and DVD on July 23, 2018.

‘The Trough’ (低压槽) is an upcoming Hong Kong crime thriller written and directed by Nick Cheung.

‘Flea-picking Samurai’ (のみとり侍 / Nomitori Samurai) is a 2018 Japanese period romantic comedy directed by Yasuo Tsuruhashi.

‘Mirai of the Future’ (未来のミライ) is an upcoming Japanese animated adventure directed by Mamoru Hosoda.

‘Bleach’ (ブリーチ) is an upcoming live-action Japanese adaptation of Tite Kubo’s ‘Bleach’ manga.
