Blu-ray & 4K UHD release: ‘Hard Boiled’

Arrow Video will release the 1992 Hong Kong action thriller ‘Hard Boiled’ (辣手神探) on UK Blu-ray and 4K UHD on March 30, 2026.
Directed by John Woo, the film follows a tough-as-nails cop who teams up with an undercover agent to bring down a sinister mobster and his crew. The cast includes Chow Yun-Fat, Tony Leung Chiu-Wai, Teresa Mo, Philip Chan, Philip Kwok Chun-Fung, and Anthony Wong.
Synopsis: Tequila (Chow Yun-Fat) is a gung-ho cop determined to bring down Johnny Wong (Anthony Wong), the triad boss who controls Hong Kong’s illegal gun trade. When Johnny attempts to recruit Ah-Long (Tony Leung), an assassin from a rival syndicate, the insubordinate Tequila is taken off the case. Refusing to back down, he tracks Ah-Long down and uncovers an intricate web of deception that threatens to erupt into all-out war.
