By Phil Mills | Dec 14, 2025
Arrow Video are bringing the 2003 South Korean sci-fi black comedy ‘Save the Green Planet!’ (지구를 지켜라!) to UK Blu-ray on February 16, 2026.
Written and directed by Jang Joon-Hwan, the film depicts a man’s extreme attempt to save humanity by abducting someone he believes is an alien invader. The cast includes Shin Ha-Kyun, Baek Yoon-Sik, Hwang Jung-Min, Lee Jae-Yong, and Lee Joo-Hyun.
Synopsis: The world is in grave danger but no one seems to realise it. Thankfully, Byeong-gu (Shin Ha-Kyun) is our salvation. To everyone else, Chairman Kang (Baek Yoon-Sik) is a pillar of society, but Byeong-gu sees him for who he really is: an alien from the Andromedan galaxy. Byeong-gu’s only course of action is clear: kidnap the chairman and extract the truth via torture. With his tightrope-walking girlfriend by his side and city cops on his heels, he must use any means necessary to prove himself to the world and save us before it’s too late.
