Blu-ray & Digital release: ‘The Legend of Hei II’

GKIDS will release the 2025 Chinese animated action-adventure ‘The Legend of Hei II’ (罗小黑战记2) on US Blu-ray and Digital on May 12, 2026.
Written and directed by MTJJ and Gu Jie, the film is a sequel to ‘The Legend of Hei’ (2019) and sees a young spirit caught in a conspiracy that risks conflict between humans and yaojing. The voice cast includes Shan Xin, Liu Mingyue, Zhu Jing, Luan Lisheng, Fu Chenyang, and Yan Ling.
Synopsis: When an attack shatters the fragile peace between the spirit world and humanity, Hei teams up with Luye, the last disciple of his Shifu Wuxian, to expose a conspiracy that threatens both realms—and the bond they’ve sworn to protect.
