Blu-ray & DVD release: ‘Under Current’

Vicol Entertainment will release the 2025 Hong Kong action thriller ‘Under Current’ (內幕) on Hong Kong Blu-ray and DVD on April 29, 2026.
Co-written and directed by Alan Mak, the film follows a barrister who teams up with a police officer to uncover a money-laundering conspiracy linked to a charitable organisation. The cast includes Aaron Kwok, Simon Yam, Francis Ng, Alex Fong Chung-Sun, and Kathy Yuen.
Synopsis: A lawyer and an investigator join forces to probe a money-laundering case linked to a charitable organisation. Following clues left by a dead man, they begin to uncover a web of corruption and hidden dealings. As they dig deeper, it becomes clear the case may have been carefully orchestrated from the start. Key figures are silenced, and a large sum of missing donations points to something far more sinister. Determined to continue, they take a risky approach to expose the powerful figure behind it all.
