Blu-ray release: ‘A Man of Reason’

Toy Robot Video will release the 2022 South Korean action thriller ‘A Man of Reason’ (보호자) on Blu-ray in the UK on November 16, 2026.

Directed by Jung Woo-Sung, the film revolves around a former hitman who attempts to leave his criminal past behind after discovering that he has a daughter. The cast includes Jung Woo-Sung, Kim Nam-Gil, Kim Jun-Han, and Park Sung-Woong.

Synopsis: After spending ten years in prison, former hitman Su-Hyuk is released and learns that he has a daughter. Determined to leave his old life behind and make a fresh start, he turns his back on his former mob boss Eung-Gook, who sees the decision as a betrayal. Eung-Gook orders his right-hand man Seong-Joon to keep watch on Su-Hyuk, setting in motion a chain of events that brings two ruthless assassins into the conflict.
