Blu-ray release: ‘Bangkok Dangerous’

Discotek Media will release the 1999 Thai action crime thriller ‘Bangkok Dangerous’ (บางกอกแดนเจอรัส เพชฌฆาตเงียบ อันตราย) on US Blu-ray on March 31, 2026.
Directed by Danny Pang Fat and Oxide Pang Chun, the film follows a deaf-mute contract killer navigating Bangkok’s criminal underworld as his growing connection to others begins to clash with the isolated life he has built around violence. The cast includes Pawalit Mongkolpisit, Premsinee Ratanasopha, Pisit Polngam, Suchao Pongwilai, and Patharawarin Timkul.
Synopsis: Operating in the shadows of Bangkok’s neon-lit streets, a solitary assassin carries out meticulous jobs under the guidance of a calculating mentor, believing detachment is the only way to survive. When unexpected relationships begin to pull him toward a life beyond contracts and routines, the fragile boundaries he depends on start to erode, drawing him into a chain of betrayals and escalating violence that forces him to confront the cost of loyalty, identity, and the possibility of change in a world built on secrecy.
