Blu-ray release: ‘Duel To The Death’

88 Films will release the 1983 Hong Kong wuxia action film ‘Duel To The Death’ (生死決) on US Blu-ray on February 24, 2026.
Co-written and directed by Ching Siu-Tung, the film follows a legendary duel between the finest Japanese and Chinese martial artists to determine whose swordsmanship is supreme. The cast includes Norman Chui, Damian Lau, Flora Cheung, Paul Chang Chung, and Eddy Ko Hung.
Synopsis: Two elite swordsmen, chosen to represent rival Chinese and Japanese martial traditions in a ritual duel to the death, uncover deception and manipulation behind the contest, forcing them to question the honour, politics, and rigid codes that demand they kill each other.
