Blu-ray release: 'Kamen Rider Stronger'

Discotek Media will release the 1975 Japanese tokusatsu television series ‘Kamen Rider Stronger’ (仮面ライダーストロンガー) on US Blu-ray on June 30, 2026.

Directed by Masahiro Tsukada, the series follows a young man who undergoes cybernetic enhancement and turns against the evil organisation responsible for his friend’s death. The cast includes Shigeru Araki, Kyoko Okada, Akiji Kobayashi, and Akira Hamada.

Synopsis: After losing someone close to him, Shigeru Jo infiltrates a sinister organisation and allows himself to be transformed into a powerful cyborg. Using his newfound abilities, he escapes their control and wages war against the group, taking on increasingly dangerous enemies alongside a fellow enhanced ally.
