Blu-ray release: ‘Nana’

Discotek Media will release the 2005 Japanese drama ‘Nana’ (ナナ) on US Blu-ray on June 30, 2026.
Based on the manga by Ai Yazawa and directed by Kentaro Otani, the film follows two young women with the same name who meet by chance on a train to Tokyo and form an unlikely friendship. The cast includes Mika Nakashima, Aoi Miyazaki, Hiroki Narimiya, Kenichi Matsuyama, and Ryuhei Matsuda.
Synopsis: Two women named Nana meet on their way to Tokyo and end up living together, forming a close bond despite their different goals. As one deals with her personal life and the other focuses on music, their friendship becomes a constant in both their lives.
