Blu-ray release: ‘Roaring Fire’

Toy Robot Video will release the 1981 Japanese martial arts action film ‘Roaring Fire’ (吼えろ鉄拳) on Blu-ray in the UK on September 28, 2026.
Directed by Norifumi Suzuki, the film follows a young man raised overseas who travels to Japan after learning the truth about his family and becomes caught up in a battle against the criminal syndicate responsible for the deaths of his relatives. The cast includes Hiroyuki Sanada, Etsuko Shihomi, Miki Yamashita, Sonny Chiba, Mikio Narita, Tatsuo Endo, and Abdullah the Butcher.
Synopsis: Raised in Texas, Joji Hibiki travels to Japan after learning that he has family there, only to discover that his brother has been murdered. As he investigates the circumstances surrounding his death, Joji uncovers his uncle’s involvement with a criminal syndicate and a scheme surrounding the Queen of Sheba, a priceless 130-carat diamond. Determined to avenge his family, Joji sets out to confront those responsible.
