Blu-ray release: ‘Sgt. Frog: The Original Movies 1-5 Collection’

Discotek Media will release ‘Sgt. Frog: The Original Movies 1-5 Collection’ on US Blu-ray on August 25, 2026.

Featuring all five original ‘Sgt. Frog’ animated films released between 2006 and 2010, the collection brings together the Keroro Platoon’s feature-length adventures as they face a succession of threats to Earth and travel to locations around the world.

Sgt. Frog: The Super Movie (2006): After Keroro and Fuyuki accidentally release Kiruru, an ancient Keronian weapon that feeds on negative emotions, mysterious red marks begin spreading among the people of Earth and granting them telepathic abilities. As the resulting mistrust and hostility allow Kiruru to grow into an increasingly powerful threat, Keroro, Fuyuki, and their friends must find a way to stop the weapon before it destroys the planet.

Sgt. Frog: The Super Movie 2 – The Deep Sea Princess (2007): During a trip to a tropical island, Natsumi is abducted by the mysterious Meru and Maru and taken to an underwater kingdom, where Meru intends to make her his princess. As Keroro and his friends launch a rescue mission, they discover that Natsumi is being drawn into a plan to recreate Meru’s lost home planet on Earth.

Sgt. Frog: The Super Movie 3 – Keroro vs. Keroro: Duel in the Skies (2008): While visiting Machu Picchu, Fuyuki and the Keroro Platoon discover a labyrinthine ruin filled with traps, where Fuyuki briefly glimpses a mysterious girl. After returning to Tokyo with the encounter still unexplained, they are confronted by Dark Keroro, the most powerful enemy they have faced.

Sgt. Frog: The Super Movie – Clash of the Dragon Warriors (2009): When mysterious dragon-like creatures known as Dragon Tails begin appearing around the world, the Keroro Platoon sets out to investigate. After Tamama suddenly disappears, their search leads them to Mont-Saint-Michel in France, where they encounter a mysterious girl named Sion and a legendary book connected to a growing threat that could destroy the world.

Sgt. Frog: The Super Movie – Birth of the Ultimate Keroro! The Miraculous Space-Time Island (2010): After Fuyuki receives a mysterious artefact resembling Keroro, he and Keroro trace its origins to Easter Island and travel there to investigate. Stranded after crashing on the island, they encounter its inhabitants while the rest of the platoon set out to find them as a powerful enemy known as AkuAku threatens humanity.
