Blu-ray release: 'Shawscope Triple Feature'

88 Films will release the Shaw Brothers martial arts films ‘Two Champions of Shaolin’ (少林與武當), ‘Shaolin Prince’ (少林傳人), and ‘Shaolin Intruders’ (三闖少林) as the ‘Shawscope Triple Feature’ Limited Edition Blu-ray box set in the UK on August 10, 2026.

Directed by Chang Cheh, ‘Two Champions of Shaolin’ pits Shaolin fighters against the rival Wu Tang clan, while Tong Kai’s ‘Shaolin Prince’ follows a young heir raised by Shaolin monks after his family is overthrown. Tong Kai also directs ‘Shaolin Intruders’, in which a series of murders leads investigators to the Shaolin temple.

Two Champions of Shaolin (1980): Shaolin students pledge to overthrow the rival Wu Tang clan and their leaders, setting the stage for a brutal confrontation between the two martial arts factions.

Shaolin Prince (1982): After a palace coup, the infant heir to the throne is rescued by a loyal bodyguard and taken to the Shaolin temple. Raised by three eccentric monks, he grows into a skilled martial artist whose training is put to the test when his uncle discovers that he is still alive.

Shaolin Intruders (1983): A series of murders targeting prominent men appears to implicate a Shaolin monk. Determined to uncover the truth, a group of investigators enter the temple but must first prove themselves in combat before they can discover the identity of the killer.
