Blu-ray release: ‘She Shoots Straight’

88 Films will release the 1990 Hong Kong action classic ‘She Shoots Straight’ (皇家女將) on US Blu-ray on February 24, 2026.
Directed by Corey Yuen Kwai, the film follows a newlywed police inspector balancing family tensions with the fight against a violent Vietnamese gang. The cast includes Joyce Godenzi, Carina Lau, Tony Leung Ka-Fai, Yuen Wah, and Sammo Hung.
Synopsis: Inspector Mina Kao, a disciplined police sharpshooter from a prominent law-enforcement family, is pushed to the forefront when a vengeful Vietnamese gang targets members of her extended police household. As violence escalates, she must navigate internal tensions with her new in-laws and the heavy expectations of her family while taking command of a dangerous pursuit to stop the growing threat.
