Blu-ray release: 'Tetsuo: The Bullet Man'

Unearthed Films will release the 2009 Japanese cyberpunk body horror thriller ‘Tetsuo: The Bullet Man’ (鉄男 THE BULLET MAN) on US Blu-ray on July 14, 2026.

Directed by Shinya Tsukamoto, the film follows a mild-mannered man whose life is shattered by tragedy, triggering a grotesque transformation that turns his body into a weapon driven by uncontrollable rage. The cast includes Eric Bossick, Akiko Mono, Yuko Nakamura, Stephen Sarrazin, and Shinya Tsukamoto.

Synopsis: Anthony is a bland and cautious American office worker living in Tokyo with nothing exceptional about him—until his young son is killed. In the aftermath, he undergoes a violent and bizarre metamorphosis, his flesh transforming into metal as his body manifests his repressed rage and desire for revenge. As the change intensifies, Anthony becomes the instrument of his own vengeance, threatening to consume everything around him.
