Blu-ray release: 'The Amsterdam Kill'

88 Films will release the 1977 Hong Kong-US action thriller ‘The Amsterdam Kill’ (荷京喋血) on UK Blu-ray on April 20, 2026.

Co-written and directed by Robert Clouse, the film revolves around a disgraced ex-DEA agent recruited to help dismantle an international drug cartel. The cast includes Robert Mitchum, Richard Egan, Leslie Nielsen, Bradford Dillman, Keye Luke, and George Cheung.

Synopsis: A disgraced former DEA agent, Quinlan (Robert Mitchum), is recruited by drug cartel figure Chung Wei (Keye Luke), who offers to expose his own network in exchange for a way out. Tasked with passing on intelligence to the authorities, Quinlan becomes the linchpin in a series of coordinated drug busts across Amsterdam and beyond. But when the operations begin to fail and agents are killed, suspicion grows around the reliability of the information—and Quinlan himself—as the line between ally and liability begins to blur.
