New Wave Video will release the 2001 Japanese erotic black comedy horror ‘Visitor Q’ (ビジターQ) on Blu-ray in June 2026.
Directed by Takashi Miike, the film depicts a deeply dysfunctional family whose lives are thrown into turmoil when a mysterious stranger enters their home, triggering a series of increasingly disturbing and violent transformations. The cast includes Kenichi Endo, Shungiku Uchida, Fujiko, Jun Muto, Shoko Nakahara, and Kazushi Watanabe.
Synopsis: A fractured household spirals through abuse, alienation, and moral decay as an enigmatic outsider inserts himself into their lives, quietly provoking each member toward increasingly extreme behaviour.
