Digital release: 'The Ugly'

Well Go USA will release the 2025 South Korean mystery thriller ‘The Ugly’ (얼굴) on US Digital on March 10, 2026.

Directed by Yeon Sang-Ho and based on his 2018 graphic novel, the film follows a visually impaired craftsman and his son as they uncover long-hidden secrets about the death of their wife and mother. The cast includes Park Jeong-Min, Kwon Hae-Hyo, Shin Hyun-Bin, Im Sung-Jae, and Han Ji-Hyun.

Synopsis: One day while overseeing a documentary crew filming his blind father at work, Im Dong-hwan gets a phone call that his missing mother’s remains have been found after forty years. Determined to find the truth of her disappearance, Dong-hwan embarks on a twisted odyssey through his family’s traumatic past, uncovering dark secrets along the way.
