‘Whispering Water’ (살목지) is a 2026 South Korean horror film directed by Lee Sang-Min.
The film follows a survey crew investigating eerie distortions at a remote reservoir, where a hidden presence begins shaping reality around them. The cast includes Kim Hye-Yoon, Lee Jong-Won, Kim Jun-Han, Kim Young-Sung, and Oh Dong-Min.
Synopsis: A small road-survey crew travels to a secluded reservoir to reshoot mapping footage after a human-shaped anomaly appears in their data, but the assignment quickly unravels as their cameras capture figures no one remembers seeing and voices seep into recordings from nowhere. As equipment malfunctions and tensions rise, fragments of a long-suppressed incident tied to the water begin to surface, drawing the team into a creeping supernatural presence that distorts memory, isolates them from the outside world, and turns their search for answers into a struggle to escape a place that seems determined to keep them.
