‘A Table For Two’ (拼桌) is a 2026 Chinese romantic drama written and directed by Wu Jing.
The film follows two strangers who become unlikely dining partners and discover that shared routines can quietly reshape their ambitions, relationships, and sense of direction. The cast includes Wang Chuanjun, Jiang Shuying, Li Xueqin, Zheng Yunlong, Fu Shouer, and Liu Jia.
Synopsis: Struggling editor Zhang Jiayi and unemployed programmer Lu Shigu cross paths by chance and begin sharing casual meals as “food companions,” forming an easy, no-strings-attached friendship. As unexpected changes reshape their lives, what once felt simple and carefree gradually deepens, pushing both of them to confront their ambitions, rethink their paths and listen more honestly to their own hearts.
