‘Crossing a Dawn’ (今晚正好) is a 2026 Chinese romantic drama written and directed by Zhao Badou.

The film depicts two strangers whose chance meeting leads to an emotionally charged night that begins to blur the line between physical attraction and genuine connection. The cast includes Ma Sichun, Edward Chen, Zhang Yifan, Song Yang, Wen Moyan, and Lu Xingchen.

Synopsis: What begins as a fleeting late-night encounter between designer Xu Qiu and writer Chen Yuzhou gradually develops into something more intimate as the two wander through the streets of Beijing together. Caught between attraction and hesitation, they lower their defences over the course of the night, moving from flirtation to unexpected honesty.
