Synopsis: Three years after inheriting the family restaurant following his father’s death, Joji Uehara is forced to confront the reality that the restaurant is steadily losing customers despite his skill as a chef. His routine is disrupted when Kim Juri, a lively young woman from Korea who has come to Japan to study Japanese cuisine, begins working at the restaurant. Though their contrasting personalities and values frequently bring them into conflict, the pair gradually develop a deeper understanding of one another as they search for ways to attract new customers, challenging each other’s assumptions and opening themselves to new ways of thinking.
