Trailer: 'Funky Freaky Freaks'

‘Funky Freaky Freaks’ (충충충) is a 2026 South Korean black comedy written and directed by Han Chang-Rok.

The film follows three teenage friends whose lives are upended by the arrival of a charismatic transfer student. The cast includes Joo Min-Kyung, Baek Ji-Hye, Jung Soo-Hyun, Shin Joon-Hang, and Kang Chae-Yeon.

Synopsis: In a small town where redevelopment has stalled, three inseparable high-school friends try to find their place in the world. Yong-gi dreams of becoming a superhero, Ji-sook longs for something better than her troubled home life, and Dum-bo spends his time running online scams. When a handsome transfer student named Woo-joo arrives and quickly captures Ji-sook’s attention, the group’s fragile dynamic begins to unravel.
