‘Game of Identity’ (天才游戏) is a 2026 Chinese psychological thriller co-written and directed by Cheng Liang.
The film explores a high-stakes identity swap between two young men that develops into a dangerous contest where control steadily slips out of reach. The cast includes Peng Yuchang, Ding Yuxi, Deng Enxi, Li Manxuan, and Hou Wenyuan.
Synopsis: A desperate but gifted young man is pulled into a wealthy heir’s carefully staged “life exchange,” stepping into a life of luxury that seems too perfect to be real. What begins as a calculated arrangement soon grows more dangerous as ambition and greed take hold, turning the balance of power into a tense game of manipulation where neither side can fully trust the other.
