Synopsis: At a day-care clinic for the elderly, a controversial treatment devised by director Tadashi Urushibara begins to spread, targeting so-called “disuse limbs” to deliver efficient care. Patients report unexpected improvements, both physically and emotionally, drawing the attention of an editor who sees its potential impact. But when a whistleblower exposes the clinic’s practices and a shocking incident occurs, the truth behind the treatment begins to surface, revealing how far Urushibara has crossed the line between idealism and madness.
