‘If I Were You’ (三心两意) is a 2026 Chinese romantic comedy directed by Wu Yang.
The film follows a woman dealing with her husband’s infidelity as an unlikely partnership pulls her into an increasingly chaotic situation. The cast includes Ariel Lin, Zhang Yifan, Sun Yizhou, Bao Jianfeng, Fan Tiantian, and Cao Cuifen.
Synopsis: After unexpectedly catching her husband in the act of cheating, Jiang Ruilin finds her life thrown into turmoil, made more chaotic when she crosses paths with Yu Xiaoyu, a young woman in trouble whom she helps. As the two grow closer, they strike an unusual pact to advise each other on love, forcing the unfaithful husband into a series of increasingly awkward and comedic predicaments. With meddling neighbours adding to the confusion, the situation spirals into a tangled game of deception and shifting loyalties, where sincerity and ulterior motives become increasingly difficult to tell apart.
