Trailer: ‘Immortal Dynasty’

‘Immortal Dynasty’ (大秦文公) is a 2026 Chinese historical drama directed by Wang Yang.

The film follows Duke Wen of Qin as he succeeds his father as ruler of the early Qin state and seeks to strengthen his people while confronting conflict with the Western Rong tribes. The cast includes Zhang Lu, Xu Jian, Wang Zhuocuo, Ren Shuai, and Zhao Xiaoming.

Synopsis: After his family is recognised for its service to King Ping of Zhou, Ying Shuo returns with his father to their homeland in Xichui, only to find the territory occupied by the Western Rong and his grandmother held captive. Following his father’s death, Ying Shuo assumes leadership and sets about restoring order, strengthening Qin law and easing tensions with neighbouring tribes. As new threats emerge, he rallies his people and leads them east towards the Guanzhong region, laying the foundations for Qin’s future rise. [© Far East Films]
