‘Invictus’ (爱是愤怒) is a 2026 Chinese romantic crime drama directed by Piao Songri.
The film follows two young lovers whose pursuit of happiness leads them into conflict with an unforgiving world. The cast includes Wang Anyu, Wang Yuwen, Wang Yanhui, Yi Xiaoxing, Wang Chu, Pan Binlong, and Maizi.
Synopsis: A young man who has spent his life being overlooked and underestimated finally finds happiness when he falls in love with a young woman who shares his hopes for a better future. But just as they begin to build a life together, an unexpected tragedy shatters their plans. Confronted by a harsh reality and a society that offers little compassion, the couple are driven to fight back in their own way, refusing to accept the fate that has been imposed upon them.
