‘Keep the Beat’ (数到三) is a 2026 Chinese drama directed by Sun Lin.
The film follows a grieving dance teacher who forms a bond with a young man, unaware that he received her late son’s donated heart. The cast includes Kara Hui, Zhang Youhao, Pan Binlong, Li Jian, and Huang Zihongfan.
Synopsis: Dance teacher Zhan Yumei is struggling with the death of her son, He Yifan, when a young stranger named Yu Jingyang unexpectedly enters her life and offers her much-needed comfort. She eventually discovers that her son’s donated heart is now beating inside Yu’s chest and that their seemingly chance encounters were carefully arranged. With the truth exposed, Zhan must confront the circumstances that brought them together and decide what their growing bond now means. [© Far East Films]
