‘Kung Fu’ (功夫) is a 2026 Taiwanese martial arts action-comedy written and directed by Giddens Ko.
The film follows a struggling teen whose encounter with a mysterious martial arts master leads him into an ancient conflict and a world-altering secret. The cast includes Kai Ko, Berant Zhu, Leon Dai, Gingle Wang, and Liu Kuan-Ting.
Synopsis: After a down-on-his-luck teenager and his friend meet a mysterious drifter who claims to have slept for five centuries and possesses unmatched martial arts skills, they reluctantly become his students—soon joined by the girl he secretly likes. As they train and learn of an ancient feud between their mentor and a former disciple, the trio begin using their abilities to play at heroism, only for the boy to discover a buried secret behind their master’s legend that could change everything.
