‘Nameless’ (名無し) is a 2026 Japanese psychological thriller co-written and directed by Hideo Jojo.
Based on the webcomic ‘Nanashi’ by Jiro Sato and Ryo Nagata, the film explores a string of impossible murders linked to a man whose deadly touch draws the attention of the police and others tied to his past. The cast includes Jiro Sato, Ryuhei Maruyama, Megumi, Kuranosuke Sasaki, Atom Shukugawa, and Ayumu Mochizuki.
Synopsis: Anyone touched by his right hand dies instantly, leaving behind a trail of inexplicable killings and growing fear. As investigators struggle to understand the motive behind the bizarre crimes, attention turns to a troubled man at the centre of the case whose existence seems tied to a mysterious woman and a past shrouded in secrecy. Pursued relentlessly by a detective consumed by obsession, the suspect is drawn deeper into a violent and distorted world where cruelty and monstrosity become increasingly difficult to separate.
