‘Qingtong & Kuihua’ (青铜葵花) is a 2026 Chinese drama directed by Chen Kun-Hou.
The film follows two children raised together in a rural village, whose bond is tested by poverty and loss during a period of hardship. The cast includes Han Mo, Zhang Yuxuan, Feng Xueya, Xie Kaiqi, and Zhan Jingyi.
Synopsis: After moving to a rural village with her artist father, a city girl named Kuihua is left alone when he dies unexpectedly. Taken in by the kind but impoverished family of a boy named Qingtong, the two grow up together as siblings, sharing a childhood shaped by hardship, hunger, and natural disaster. Through these struggles, they come to understand the quiet resilience of those around them and discover moments of compassion and dignity that endure despite their circumstances. [© Far East Films]
