‘Scattered Reflection’ (藍反射) is a 2026 Japanese drama written and directed by Nomoto Kozue.

The film depicts a young woman confronting uncertainty about her fertility and rethinking her future after a difficult diagnosis. The cast includes Riu Michida, Erika Takizawa, Takuya Inoue, Haruka Hirakawa, and Kurumi Nakayama.

Synopsis: Twenty-five-year-old Haruka Miyama leads a busy life balancing work and volunteer activities while hoping to marry her boyfriend, but after learning about a friend’s fertility treatment, she visits a gynaecologist and is diagnosed with a hormonal imbalance. Initially brushing it aside, she continues as usual until worsening symptoms and a sudden health scare force her to confront the uncertainty surrounding her body and future—struggles she feels unable to share with anyone. An unexpected encounter with a middle school girl named Yukari, however, begins to change her outlook. [© Far East Films]
